The days of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in Burgas started

The days of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in Burgas started with an official opening ceremony held at Frola Exhibition Centre in Burgas.

The children from Kindergarten ODZ No. 1 Morska zvezda, Elin Pelin Primary School, Konstantin Petkanov Secondary Comprehensive School, representatives of the partner organization from Norway – Norsk Energy, experts from the Ministry of Energy and Mrs. Yordanka Ananieva – Deputy Mayor for Culture and Education launched the series of events.

During the Days of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources all the residents and visitors of Burgas will be invited to attend the three-day exhibition of producers and representatives of energy efficient products, household materials and production facilities for the business, facilities for the production of energy from renewable energy sources, insulation construction materials and others. The exhibition will be held within the period 29.09.2016-01.10.2016 and will provide an opportunity for presenting the latest trends on the market, establishing contacts and facilitating the direct contact between traders and consumers. The participants in the exhibition are leading producers and representatives in this industry.

Along with the exhibition, training sessions for citizens and specialists will be organized, which are aimed at increasing people’s interest in energy-saving measures, technologies and products which can be used at home and in the business sector as well.

The days of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources are organized under the project “Increasing the energy efficiency of the central heating system of three municipal educational buildings in the city of Burgas, Meden Rudnik residential area”, which is funded under Programme BG04 “Energy efficiency and renewable energy” of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2009-2014.
